To use your insurance, please book an appointment and send an email
to our Admin team including the following:
- Clear photos of the front and back of your insurance card
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
As a courtesy, we’ll check your benefits prior to your session and let you know what you can expect to pay. Copays are due each time you see a clinician.
Additional Fees & Self Pay
For medication-related questions with our nurse practitioners, any question that takes more than 5 minutes to answer will require a session to be scheduled. Any out-of-session contact or extra work that requires more than 5 minutes of our clinicians’ time will be prorated at $150 per hour.
Those who don’t have Cigna or CareFirst insurance may choose to pay for treatment out of pocket. The full cost will be charged within 24 hours of completing your appointment. We’re happy to provide an itemized list of services for your own reimbursement purposes. We do not work with insurance companies other than Cigna and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield.
Cancellation Policy
Failure to reschedule or cancel your appointment within 24 hours will result in a $100 cancellation fee. This fee is not covered by insurance.
Good Faith Estimate
By law, healthcare providers must provide uninsured or self-paying clients with an estimated cost for medical services.
Public Health Service Act
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, healthcare providers and facilities must furnish individuals not enrolled in a plan or federal healthcare program, or not intending to file a claim with their plan, with a Good Faith Estimate of anticipated charges for services, both verbally and in writing, upon request or when scheduling care.
A Written Estimate
Patients have the entitlement to receive a written Good Faith Estimate for the anticipated total expenses of any non-urgent services or items.
Ensure that your healthcare provider furnishes you with a written Good Faith Estimate at least one business day prior to your appointment. You can also request an estimate before scheduling any service from your chosen provider.
Bill Limits
In the event that your final bill exceeds the Good Faith Estimate by at least $400, you have the right to contest the bill.
Remember to retain a copy or capture an image of your Good Faith Estimate.
